IN THE WINERY

2014 was a very difficult vintage with a lot of rainfall, and the wines are characterized by high acidity and moderate alcohol levels. For this reason we are tending to complete their malolactic fermentations, in order to make the wines rounder and better balanced.

In this period the wines are being racked once again, so as to remove the sediments that have formed during the winter.

The wines from the last vintage that go into bottle early and do not require ageing are being filtered and prepared for bottling. Also, the large casks, the stainless steel tanks and the barriques are being topped up.

As of now, in the Veneto, we can forecast a year with medium-to-high production, undoubtedly greater than in 2014. As always, the months of July and August are very important, in which regular rainfall, without long periods of muggy heat and drought, will allow the grapes to maintain and develop a high level of quality, which will then subsequently characterize our wines.
